Easy Eatery Beta 0.8.5 released
NewEasy Eatery
What’s new in 0.8.5?
We’ve made a number of updates to make day-to-day reservation management clearer, quicker and easier - helping you stay in control of service and deliver a better experience for guests.
A new way to view your bookings
The new daily timeline view gives you a simple, visual overview of reservations across all dining areas.
Bookings for a given date are shown by time across the page, with tables listed down the page, grouped into their respective dining areas, making it easier to see what’s happening at a glance and manage availability with confidence.
A revised booking status selector
The way that booking statuses are displayed and selected has been revised so outcomes such as Cancelled, No Show and Declined are shown separately from active reservation statuses, such as Enquiry, Approved, Seated, etc.
A more streamlined booking management view
The individual booking view has been refreshed with a single-column layout that’s easier to read and quicker to use—particularly on mobile.
Key details are now placed at the top, so the information you need is always easy to find.
Walk-ins that match real service flow
Walk-in bookings now default to the status Seated, rather than Arrived, removing the need for an unnecessary status change and better reflecting how front-of-house teams work during service.
Different follow-ups for different feedback
Customer feedback forms now allow you to send guests to different pages depending on their rating. Lower ratings can be directed to a dedicated response page, while positive feedback can be followed up with a tailored thank-you or review prompt. This gives you more control over how feedback is handled and helps you respond appropriately to every guest.
Visual and usability improvements
Alongside these changes, we’ve made a number of smaller visual and usability improvements across the control panel—particularly within the Table Reservations area. These refinements help keep the interface clear, consistent and easy to use during busy service periods.
