When we first started our journey, we spoke at length with business owners about their websites. They told us that they often struggled to engage with customers via their websites, that they rarely generated any meaningful revenue, and that the features they wanted often came at too high a cost.

Many businesses recognised the benefits of offering online table reservations and selling gift vouchers. However, the high fees, often from providers taking a cut of each booking or sale, made them unsustainable in the long term.

Our founder

The driving force behind Easy Eatery is our founder, Paul Dean. Paul is an experienced web developer who continues to work at an award-winning creative agency in Cardiff, Blue Stag, where he has held a senior role for almost a decade.

Originally from Hereford and now based in South Wales, Paul has extensive experience spanning over twenty years, with clients ranging from the government organisations, fintech, charities as well as private businesses.

Paul empathised deeply with the difficulties hospitality businesses faced during the pandemic, as the industry helped him kickstart his career. Motivated to help, Paul founded Easy Eatery in 2021.
