Gift vouchers - promotional codes update

We’ve expanded and enhanced our voucher discount system, and with that comes a new name!

Gift voucher discount codes are now called promotional codes to better reflect their broader capabilities.

What’s Changed?

Previously, discount codes could only:

• Reduce the purchase price of a voucher
• By either appling a fixed-price or percentage discount
• Without affecting the actual value of the voucher purchased

What’s New?

Promotional codes are now far more flexible. In addition to the original functionality, you can now:

• Increase the value of a voucher without changing its purchase price
• Apply this uplift as either:
  • A fixed amount, or
  • A percentage

This means you can now run promotions like:

• “Get £10 extra to spend when you buys a voucher”
• “Purchase a voucher and receive 20% extra credit”

These new options give you more creative control over your promotions and more ways to delight your customers.
