The Queen Inn — our second website is now live!

Say hello to The Queen Inn!

After what seems like an eternity since launching our first early-access website last year, the time has finally come to launch our second.

The Queen Inn is a family-run pub and restaurant based in Cwmbran, Torfaen - and they're a business with a unique twist; their menu is entirely plant-based.

Run by Gareth, Jane and their son, Ryan, and after an immensely successful Veganuary 2022, they decided to transform The Queen Inn into the World's first plant-based steakhouse.

To acheive this they've sourced meat-alternative products from brands such as Juicy Marbles, [Mock], Omni and Redefine Meat to bring delicious, fully-vegan meals to their customers.

The Queen Inn is running on the latest version of Easy Eatery, which includes our upgraded menu builder.

The Queen Inn's website is powered by the latest version of Easy Eatery. This version has seen hundreds of updates, improvements and bug fixes to ensure that creating and managing content is as easy as possible.

However, The Queen Inn is the first live website to use our page builder's custom block builder.

We used this powerful feature to create several design elements unique to this website, including this vegan lifestyle block, which shows 'live' statistics of, amongst other things, the number of lives that The Queen Inn have saved by transitioning to a plant-based menu:

The Queen Inn was fully supported from day one.

To ensure the best outcome with such an important website, we opted to provide the team at The Queen Inn with all the support they needed, starting with a logo that the business lacked and sorely needed.

We provided several initial design concepts that explored different fonts and iconography that The Queen Inn team mentioned were important to them.

After several rounds of feedback and scrutinising every minute detail within the logo, we settled on the above design.

But in addition to branding support, we also provided photography of their venue, help writing content and, of course, full training on how to use their new website.

All of this was provided entirely free of charge.

Suffice it to say; we gave The Queen Inn our all.

This is because the team at the Queen Inn chose to do something that only a few others have; trust us.

The simple fact is that even after all this time, we're still a new company, and we're eager to prove that Easy Eatery can be a valuable marketing tool. We're incredibly grateful that Gareth, Jane and Ryan gave us that opportunity to prove ourselves.

What launched today is only the start.

The Queen Inn will receive all bug fixes, updates and new features that Easy Eatery launches, once again completely free of charge.

We have several new features in various stages of development, and the first of them will launch once our initial batch of early-access sites are all live.

Two done, two to go.

With the launch of The Queen Inn, we're now at two websites launched, but we have two more currently in development, tentatively slated to launch in August and September, respectively.

After the next two sites are live, we're putting all of our efforts back into developing Easy Eatery and the tools and features we need to bring our product fully to market.

But even with so much already done, we have so far to go, however I'm over the moon with our progress in the last few months, and I can't wait to see where we are by the end of this year!

Over the past few weeks, we've been hoping to find a small number of businesses to provide the opportunity to test out our platform and in turn, receive a free, high-quality website powered by Easy Eatery. I'm happy to report that we've done precisely that.
