From early-access to Beta, introducing Easy Eatery 0.8

It's been eight months of relative silence from us, and no, we did not forget our passwords or get lost in a menu somewhere. We've been heads-down, laser-focused on what has become a comprehensive overhaul of Easy Eatery - and I'm really excited to announce that it is live!

This update delivers a complete design refresh, more intelligent workflows, and new tools that help you run things in an efficient, cost-effective manner. And from now on, you will see smaller, more regular updates instead of major milestone releases like this.

This release is the result of thousands of hours of hard-work and focus, it's the kind of work that needed to happen before we could go any further and it changes our platform in ways that sets Easy Eatery up for years to come.

Out of early-access, into beta:

Over the past several months, we have carefully reviewed feedback from our customers, studied how they use our platform and rebuilt core parts of our product to be clearer, faster, and easier to use.

With this release, all of those lessons learned and feedback has been implemented and moves Easy Eatery out of early access and into our beta phase!

In plain English, that means the platform is now feature-rich and polished enough for real, reliable everyday use, but we are still adding new features and refining existing ones at a rapid pace.

With Easy Eatery, you get a professional tool that is ready to work for you today, along with the excitement of seeing fresh improvements land regularly.

So without further ado, here's a taste of what's new.

A fresh, modern design.

We have rebuilt the entire control panel from scratch, improving the design and making it faster, more consistent, and easier to use. We've simplified complex tasks where possible and tried to reduce the learning curve required to get to grips with our platform.

Easy Eatery's new control panel is now fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile, so you can manage your business with ease, wherever you are. Previously only gift vouchers and table reservations were manageable on mobile, now, everything is.

Page building made easy.

Our new visual page builder lets you edit your website's pages with confidence.

With our redesigned and rebuilt page builder, you can see changes to your page's content and structure in real time, simulate the page on desktop, tablet and mobile, and roll back to any of 30 saved versions.

With Easy Eatery, no coding is required to build pages, simply choose from a growing list of pre-build page layout elements and add in your content.

Smarter table reservations.

Managing table bookings is now quicker and more intuitive than before, thanks to:

  • A brand-new design that can run in a full-screen mode.
  • Redesigned booking tiles that communicate important information more easily, such as unpaid deposits, table allocation issues or if the primary customer left a note or has a gift voucher.
  • We improved the booking search to let you search only upcoming bookings, or all.
  • We made it easier to manage your dining areas and sessions, with additions such as a dining area planner to support future updates.

Food and drink menus built the right way.

Our redesigned menu builder offers a streamlined workflow that makes it easy to create and edit food and drink menu. You can now add, reuse, and organise menu items without having to re-enter data.

Vouchers without the hassle.

From selling to redeeming, gift vouchers are now more straightforward and capable. You can now create custom one-off vouchers (useful for credit notes), see recent sales stats at a glance, and redeem orders more quickly on mobile.

Feedback you can act upon.

A new dashboard shows your latest reviews, six-month trends, and AI-powered summaries that highlight what's going well and where to improve.

And plenty more

We have improved every aspect of our control panel, from forms, media management, site navigation, CRM features, design tools, integrations, and account security. Every part of Easy Eatery has been refreshed in this release.

A new chapter and the road ahead:

Easy Eatery 0.8.0 is the single most significant step forward in our history. It is the foundation for everything that comes next, and I am excited for you to experience it. You can view the full changelog here for more details.

But we are still just getting started. Check out our roadmap to see the new features, improvements, and integrations we are working on next for Easy Eatery. View the roadmap here.
