Welcome to our biggest update to date.
We have taken Easy Eatery from a proof of concept phase, to a polished, professional platform.
This release delivers a complete design overhaul, powerful new features, and major improvements to the tools you already use every day.
With this release, we are also changing how we deliver updates. Instead of large milestone releases spaced further apart, development will now shift to a more incremental approach, bringing you new features and improvements more regularly.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, but the highlights.
Major design refresh
The entire control panel has been rebuilt for clarity, consistency, and speed.
- A brand-new, polished look based on customer feedback.
- Fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Every section redesigned to make daily work faster and easier.
This refresh is more than a visual update. It is the foundation for everything we will build going forward. We have applied lessons learned and feedback received to create a generational leap in usability and appearance.
Visual page builder
A completely rebuilt page builder that makes editing simpler and more powerful:
- Real-time preview of your page as you build.
- Block-based with no coding required so you can focus on your content.
- Device previews for desktop, tablet and mobile, with orientation switcher and zoom controls.
Enhanced version history with previews and up to 30 saved versions per page, increased from 10.
Table reservations
Managing bookings is now more efficient:
- New design that works well in full-screen mode.
- Quick booking search with “all” or “upcoming” filter.
- Quick-add closure button for faster date management.
- Booking enquiries shortcut visible on all pages.
- Improved daily list view that prioritises upcoming and active bookings.
- Booking tiles now use clearer colour coding and display icons for:
- An available gift voucher associated with the primary guest
- Customer and internal notes
- Unpaid deposits
Gift vouchers
Improved voucher and order management:
- New dashboard showing recent orders, active vouchers, discount codes and sales statistics.
- Streamlined order redemption process, especially on mobile.
- Create one-off “custom” vouchers without setting up a voucher product.
- Simplified voucher product creation process:
- Fewer fields required (Voucher title, pricing, entitlement information and short description)
- Default page layout for new vouchers
- Default email text for faster setup.
Customer feedback
Turn feedback into action:
- Dashboard now shows recent submissions, six-month average rating and recommendation percentages.
- AI-powered summaries that group feedback into The Good, The Bad and Areas to Improve.
- Support for multiple feedback forms.
- Improved search by rating score and recommendation status.
Food and drink
A new Menu builder which introduces a faster, smarter way to build menus:
- Easily reuse items added to previous menus, no data reentry.
- Create new menu items directly while building a menu.
- A streamlined setup process for menus.
- Reduced required fields for new dishes to the item name only.
- Easier allergen, category and tag management.
Forms
- New dashboard with recent submissions and quick links.
- A new, mobile-friendly form builder.
- New field types including true or false, switch, number input and newsletter subscribe.
Media Manager
- Smoother file uploads.
- Uncropped image thumbnails for clearer previews.
Site Navigation Manager
- Menu list now shows top-level links for quick identification.
- Cleaner and simpler menu editor.
CRM
- Improved design.
- Add private notes to contact profiles.
- View associated table reservations, vouchers, feedback and forms in one place.
- Deleting a contact now anonymises related bookings.
Design Tools
- Updated theme editor with tab reordering,
- Added HTML and CSS autocomplete to the code editor.
- Expanded template variables and reviewed each file's schema to ensure all variables are listed.
- Redesigned custom block tools and added new field types including number input, switch, colour picker, text content and divider.
- Custom fields now use the same design tools as the custom page builder blocks.
Settings and Integrations
- App settings separated from day-to-day tasks.
- Business settings split into separate pages:
- Company information,
- Opening hours and serving times
- Social and food delivery links,
- Food standards rating
- Added support for Bluesky, Threads, TikTok
- Added an integration with Intuit Mailchimp, to allow the form builder to collect subscribers for your mailing list.
Accounts and Notifications
- Email verification now available for all accounts.
- Telephone field added for account holders.
- Now, only master accounts can create team members (extra administrator accounts)
- Changes made to team member accounts require password verification.
- Redesigned notifications manager for a smoother experience and to support future features.
